In all my teaching, whether on a mat, or in a traditional classroom, or sitting on a rock wall in the hills, I’ve found conversation always leads to better understanding than debate does. Our household motto has long been “Nobody wins unless everybody wins.” And if you can cultivate a little humor in that discussion, the learning is even better.

  • Amelia Neal & Luke Loggins

    Amelia:
Embodied movement has enabled me to deal both physically and emotionally with the intensity of life. Tuning in and checking in with my mind-body connection has changed how I interact with the world. Somatic movement helps create space for me to feel my feelings without labeling them good or bad. Awareness with no judgment. Finding peace within. I hope to share this empowerment and healing modality with those that practice with me.

    Luke:
My teaching and movement practice is a tangled knot of flows, with different modalities and styles weaving through each other. The end result looks something like an attempt to find the balance between structure and freedom, and finding a sense of ritual in the playful mess of it all.
