Teacher Training:

Our Teacher Training program invests and equips Belizean teachers. Teachers hold great responsibility and influence over a student’s life, having proper tools and training allows them to positively impact their students and schools throughout the entire country.
Dedicated teachers across Belize want to prepare their students to succeed in the 21st century, but too few local resources exist to meet that challenge. We are changing that by investing in the professional development of the teachers who teach our PathLight students, a win-win for all.
Working in partnership with the Ministry of Education and local school administrators, PathLight trainers help teachers develop the competency-based pedagogies, project-based learning practices, and early-literacy success strategies that teachers want for their students.
We need your help. Join our Academy 19 program: investing in just one teacher benefits the 600+ students they will teach in their lifetime who will learn content on par with their global peers. For a small investment, this is a massive return, both in the lives of the teacher and their students.
