Irv Henderson Has Joined PathLight International's Board of Directors
PathLight International is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Irv Henderson to its Board of Directors. Mr. Henderson has an MBA from Cornell University, was vice president of product development at Yahoo, and is currently the co-founder and CEO of talech, a point of sale Silicon Valley software company. Born and raised in Belize, Irv brings a wealth of connections and cultural understanding to the PathLight Board. Describing PathLight's work in Belize as an answer to prayer, Irv says, "PathLight's unique, inclusive approach of partnering with local schools and families is transformative to young Belizeans."
Roy Goble, co-founder of PathLight and current board chair, said, “For years we have wanted PathLight to model the best of Belize, so we have consistently moved toward Belizean leadership. Irv represents a big step forward as he’ll bring his insights, connections, and wisdom to the work of PathLight. He represents the very best of Belize: a passion for the nation, a desire to improve the lives of the less fortunate, and a deep love for God. It’s an honor to have someone with his experience on the PathLight board.”
“Irv and his twin brother Alvin have already helped PathLight with numerous contacts in the Belizean business community and government. I am thrilled to have Irv serving on our board, and I look forward to his continued contributions to our work,” says PathLight CEO Roger Dermody.
Irv lives in Palo Alto, California with his wife Vani and their two children. Together they attend Menlo Park Church, and are active members of the community.
