PathLight organizes and leads 1-3 week service projects for groups to impact the educational needs of at-risk children. Custom-designed for the needs of each group and focused on serving in a culturally sensitive way, these trips can be transforming for everyone.
Expectations for these service projects are high, and they are opportunities to truly make a difference in the lives of children. Whether repairing a roof, upgrading a classroom, providing a computer workshop, or simply leading a group of kids in worship, the goal of PathLight is to create relationships that are long-lasting, transforming, and guided by the Holy Spirit.
Service Opportunities
Because of resource limitations, many students are not exposed to academic subjects outside of the basics. Through activities such as computer workshops, science camps, and art or music presentations, your group can enrich the learning experience for dozens of children.
It's hard to learn in an overcrowded classroom with a leaking roof and broken desks. By building, painting, or repairing school classrooms or other school facilities, your group can improve the educational experience for hundreds of children.
There are a variety of ways your group can have a lasting impact on the lives of children in Belize. While we focus primarily on projects that support education, we also welcome teams with a desire to do other types of service.
A Setting in God’s Natural Beauty
Located on 700 acres of rainforest in Belize, Jaguar Creek acts as home base for PathLight’s short-term trip ministry in the nearby schools and communities. Widely acclaimed for its natural beauty and environmentally sensitive design, the center can accommodate groups of up to 50 people.
A short-term mission trip allows God to touch hearts in special ways. To book a trip or to learn more, read our service term service opportunities brochure, call us at
